Tehran said Iran did not strike Turkey, Azerbaijan and Cyprus

The Iranian military did not organize attacks against Turkey, Azerbaijan and Cyprus, Al Jazeera reported on Monday, citing Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghai.
“Baghai, commenting on the information about the use of Iranian weapons against Turkey, Cyprus, and Azerbaijan last week, said that no offensive actions were carried out against these countries from Iranian territory,” the TV channel reports.
During the press conference, Baghai suggested that some of these attacks could be staged, which he said Iranian authorities had already warned about. The diplomat assured that the Iranian authorities want friendly relations with neighboring states. However, Tehran, the Foreign Ministry representative noted, has the right to retaliate if the territories of neighboring states are used for attacks on Iran.
Baghai added that the United States has disrupted peace negotiations and, together with Israel, is violating international law.
