Iran said the US missed a chance to resolve the problem through dialogue

"In fact, the United States missed this opportunity... We negotiated in good faith and did everything possible to ensure that the negotiations ended satisfactorily. The last round of negotiations in Geneva last Thursday was successful... we must ask the Americans why they changed their minds, why they resorted to force," he said in an interview with France24 television.
