Iranian Foreign Minister announced progress in negotiations with the United States
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi called the third round of consultations between Tehran and Washington on the Iranian nuclear file in Geneva one of the most serious. The third round of consultations between Iran and the United States on the Iranian nuclear dossier ended on Thursday evening in Geneva. "These were one of the most serious and longest negotiations. In these few long hours, we made good progress," he said live on Iranian television. Negotiations in Geneva for the first time took place in two stages: the parties, having started negotiations in the morning, took a break in the afternoon for consultations with capitals, and continued the discussion in the evening. In total, the negotiations, excluding the pause, lasted about five hours. Iran and the United States held three rounds of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear file. The Iranian delegation is headed by Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, and the American delegation by US Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff. The parties are currently working on proposals for a possible agreement.
