Membership in the European Union is incompatible with the EAEU, but Russia will respect Armenia’s choice, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said. “Membership in the Eurasian Economic Union is incompatible with the principles that underlie participation in cooperation, and especially in joining the European Union. This is your choice, and we will fully respect it,” Lavrov said at a meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan.
