The initialing of the peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan is a great success that has changed the entire atmosphere in the South Caucasus, said Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan at the summit in Doha. “Now we are not discussing the conflict itself, but how to strengthen peace and how to institutionalize it,” Grigoryan noted. According to him, the future ratification of the peace agreement and the unblocking of communications in the region are part of the process of institutionalization of the agreements reached in Washington.

He said that we recognized the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, but we did this in order to ourselves recognize the territorial integrity of our country. “Now goods are already arriving in Armenia by rail through Azerbaijan, and other goods will soon arrive, some will come from Armenia. Kirants is a peaceful village. Kirants has grown by 50% since the demarcation,” added the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

It is unacceptable for Ukraine to surrender its territory. US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker believes that peace between Russia and Ukraine is closer than ever. “For us, this is probably the best opportunity. We can say that we are close... closer to peace than ever,” the EFE agency quoted him as saying on Saturday. The permanent representative noted that “this will not be peace at any cost, since ultimately the Ukrainian side will have to accept any agreement reached, and the Russian side will have to demonstrate a sincere desire to end this war.”

Human Rights Watch's designation of Russia as an "undesirable" foreign organization, released by the Justice Department on November 28, is yet another manifestation of the repressive nature of the Kremlin regime, Human Rights Watch said today. The goal is to try to launch an international settlement format, including a guarantee of security, a ceasefire, and the return of prisoners. American diplomacy proposed a 28-point plan that could become the basis for a peace agreement. However, Moscow stated that it is not yet ready to sign - the conditions must be “taken into account” and guarantees must be provided. November 2025 marked the last major effort of international mediators - perhaps the last chance to launch a negotiating mechanism. But its success depends on the Kremlin's willingness to acknowledge reality—and abandon ultimatums.
